Jefferson Chamber of Commerce
Shop it Here! is a marketing opportunity for local business to encourage local shoppers to buy locally and to keep money in Jefferson County. The purpose of Shop it Here! is to promote our area shoppers to shop local, keep your hard earned money in your own community. Shoppers are encouraged to buy from local merchants (list below), save their receipts or proof of purchase, and redeem them at the Chamber of Commerce for an entry into our drawings. The more visits to our local merchants on the list, the more chances that shopper has at winning.
Prizes will include monthly drawings from local business who are participating in Shop it Here! for chances to win gift cards, memberships, gift baskets, and much more. A grand prize drawing will be held at the Chamber’s Christmas Luncheon on December 17th for a chance to win five hundred dollars in cash, two hundred and fifty dollar gas card and two hundred and fifty dollars towards groceries and more.
Start shopping August 1st and saving receipts, not only helping to stimulate our local economy, but you could win cash and prizes. Be on the lookout for our Yellow Shop it Here! Signs around our community, and help support Shop it Here! Jefferson County First.
Title Sponsors of Shop it Here! include Crossroad Community Hospital, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Inc., The Jefferson County Board, the Jefferson County Development Corporation, and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. The sponsorships will be used to advertise the promotion, as well as the businesses that participate in all of our local media, as well as information from the Chamber.
